Park City Lacrosse - Organizational Timeline

The PCLO is governed by a 16 person board composed of two committees, one that runs the high school boys organization and another that runs the high school girls organization. PCYLO is organized by an eight-member board and oversees both boys' and girls' teams grades K-8.

1995: Park City Lacrosse began fielding teams for high school boys and girls.
2000: the non-profit Park City Lacrosse Organization (PCLO) was incorporated.
2001: PCLO was awarded the Park City Municipal Corporation Youth Advisory Council Grant for development of the boys’ team and the annual Christmas Tree Pick-up fundraiser began
2002: PCLO became a 501 c 3 organization in 2002.
2003: PCLO was awarded the Park City Municipal Corporation Youth Advisory Council Grant for the girls high school lacrosse program
2007: PCLO took over the youth league from the Snyderville Basin Recreation department, and a youth board was formed
2008: In the spring season, over 250 girls & boys played in the ULA youth lacrosse league, and the high school girls & boys teams consisted of more than 85 players. That year, PCLO hosted the Utah State High School Lacrosse Championships and All Star games at PCHS Dozier Field.
2011: In response to continued growth, PCYLO establishes a separate non-profit organization for the Youth League.
